Victor P. Cannillo, B.S., NAPFA - Registered Financial Advisor, (victorc@baron-financial.com), is a Wealth Management Principal with the Baron Financial Group.
Victor is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Business. He received his Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Finance and Investments and has completed all of the coursework in the Certified Financial Planning program offered through the College of Financial Planning. He has also completed graduate level courses in Investment Management.
He is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Membership is granted only to advisors who pass an extensive screening process. Advisors who pass the vetting process must be paid directly by their clients; without receiving conflict inducing commissions and rewards generated from the sale of financial products.
Victor implemented a distinctive team-based approach to wealth management. The concept of “two (or more) heads are better than one”. He especially understands each clients desire to simplify, so BFG provides regular reports that clearly show a client’s investment strategy and how their assets are performing. Victor strongly believes this approach and customized reporting gives the client the convenience and assurance of centrally coordinated management of clients’ financial affairs.
He specializes in asset allocation and portfolio design. He has exceptional skills in client relationship management and continuously works toward maintaining open and effective communications between clients and advisors. Victor devised our current business model, a "client-centric" approach, and is principally responsible for our strong growth. He takes great pride in Baron Financial's ability to provide clients with the most cost effective planning and investment advice.
Victor brings a strong business background to Baron Financial. He is a successful real estate owner and investor for many years in various properties, and so is in an excellent position to advise clients who are considering investing in real estate through outright ownership.
He has been quoted in the Daily Record in Morristown on the topic of retirees outliving their funds; the New York Post on investing in real estate; and the Reuters News Network. He was also featured in the Newark Star Ledger. He authored an article for the Bottom Line newsletter on Bond Laddering.
